American Red Cross Responding to Multi-Family Fire on Sherman Avenue in Meriden

A team of volunteers from the American Red Cross Connecticut Chapter is responding to a fire on Sherman Avenue in Meriden.  Preliminary reports from the scene indicate that the team is working to provide temporary lodging and financial assistance for emergency clothing and food needs for 15 people in six families. 
 
Red Cross disaster assistance is free of charge, made possible by the work of volunteers and by generous donations.
